Adjectives ending in - ED and -ING

http://webs.ono.com/englishweb4eso/ed_ing_adjectives_.html

A- We use adjectives ending in “-ING” to describe something or someone. It describes our personality.

-- Your sister is reading a very INTERESTING book.
-- I went to Haro yesterday, it is an EXCITING town.
-- My brother doesn't like watching DEPRESSiNG films on his own.-- Monday is very BORING. It is the first day of the week.

B- We use adjectives ending in “-ED” when we want to describe how people feel. It describes how you feel at the moment
-- I’m not really INTERESTED in studying German nowadays, I prefer English.
-- Your sister isn't reading an interesting book, so she is getting BORED.
-- I am very EXCITED because I'm going to travel to Haro for the first time; and it is a very EXCITING town in La Rioja.
-- I am RELAXED at the weekend.

Tenéis, entonces, que tener en cuenta estas claves:
1- -ING: los adjetivos terminados en -ING describen una característica de algo o alguien; por ejemplo, ser interesante, aburrido... :

- The film was BORING, that's why I felt BORED.

2- - ED: los adjetivos terminados en - ED describen o indican emociones, cómo nos sentimos.
- It was a long day and I eventually got TIRED.

La actividad la repetiremos en clase, pero ya quiero que la tengáis adelantada.
Have a nice weekend.
See you on Monday

Our father (Padre nuestro en inglés)

Our father
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hear our prayer
we are your children and
we've gathered here today
We've gathered here to pray

Hear our cry, Lord
we need your mercy
And we need
your grace today
hear us as we pray

- ch:
our father
who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name'
our father
hear us from heaven
forgive our sins we pray

Hear our song
as it rises to heaven
May your glory
fills the air
as the waters cover the sea

See our heart
And remove anything
that is standing in the way
of coming to you today

- ch:
our father
who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name'
our father
hear us from heaven
forgive our sins we pray

Though we are few
we're surrounded by many
Who have crossed
that river before
And this the song
we'll be singing for ever

HOLY is the LORD (8 times)

Hear our prayer
we are your children and
we've gathered
here today
We've gathered here to pray

Hear our cry, Lord
we need your mercy
And we need your grace today
hear us as we pray

- ch:
our father who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name'
our father hear us from heaven
forgive our sins we pray
